Business in San Fransisco
Sometimes meetings will take you to San Fransisco. If you’re lucky enough, this is a city that your business credit card can take care of. So, take some time between meetings and conference calls to enjoy some food and local adventures.
First, you’ll want to soak up as much seafood as you can. The Pacific Ocean offers this city a lot. If you’re in the mood for the traditional stuff, go to Sotto Mare, where you can eat some cioppino. It’s an Italian dish that has taken over the city; a stew of shellfish and fish. If you need to work and eat, Anchor and Hope is your best bet. You’ll be able to impress your client or business partner over the rich options of food and alcohol.
If you have more time to kill, a hike at Lands End will give you amazing views. It’s also very mellow, so locals have called it more of a walk than a hike. From there, you’ll be able to see the Golden Gate Bridge and other hidden gems of SF.
Before you head back home, make sure to get coffee at Buena Vista. It’s allegedly the first place to serve Irish coffee in America. Whatever the case, it’s very good and worth the stop.
